I am thrilled to perform CPE Bach's undeniably awesome Concerto in d minor with Ensemble Eroica this week! Music Director, Toby Thatcher (Sydney Symphony's Assistant Conductor), will also lead the orchestra through an evening of Brahms Symphony No. 2 and Schubert's Unfinished.
It's a rare treat to get to play such large and loved works, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to enjoy my first concerto experience supported by so many friends and colleagues. Please make your way to St James' Sussex Gardens in Paddington for 7:30 this coming Thursday, September 24th.
'Carmen' has received consistent 4-star rave reviews (plus a full five from Fringe Opera) since we opened last month! I even got a personal shout out in the Evening Standard when they wrote of "magical moments, notably for the flute!"
Don't miss your chance to see the collaboration between OperaUpClose and the Soho Theatre before we close on 19 September.
Thank you to all who attended Cream Teas and Tunes Vol II! Over 50 people joined us last Sunday at St. Anne's Kew Gardens and made the day a delight as you can see in the photos below. Want some more? Open up your diary and make note of what's next!
